Avó Manela accommodation is the perfect place to enjoy your holidays, located in a private condominium in the city of Portimão. The apartment is located on the 10th floor and accommodates a maximum of 4 people, consisting of 1 bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, WIFI and a swimming pool. Guests will have access to the shared pool with an access key provided by the host upon check-in. The city of Portimão belongs to the district of Faro (Algarve) and is an important center of fishing and tourism. From pre history with the megalithic monuments of Alcalar, through Romanization, with the archaeological station of Abicada, near Figueira, to the elevation of the city by our native Manuel Teixeira Gomes, ending with the canning industry, Portimão has 5000 years of history . Here you can do all kinds of water sports, such as sailing, wind and kitesurfing, among others. If you are a diving enthusiast, the navy ships sunk off our coast to create an artificial reef are the ultimate attraction. Of course, we couldn't forget about the Portimonense Stadium to watch football matches and also the Algarve International Circuit, well known for its bike and car racing events. If you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the city of Portimão, we recommend a walk through the Zona Ribeirinha, a trip to the Igreja do Colégio and a meal by the sea with typical Portuguese dishes. If you want to feel the magic of summer in Portimão, we suggest a boat trip along the Algarve coast, to the Benagil caves, where you can spot dolphins along the trip.

Booking conditions:
Minimum stay:
- 3 nights since 15th September until the 31st May;
- 5 nights since the 1st June until the 15th September.
In accordance with Municipal Law, upon check-in all guests must present their Citizen Card/Passport and pay a fee of 2 euros per person and per night in high season (01/04 to 31/10) or a fee of 1 euros per person and per night in low season (01.11 to 31.03) up to a maximum value of 7 consecutive nights stay/person (+12 years).
The payment must be done in cash (not credit/debit card).
Cancellation policies:
- Upon booking, the guest will be charged 30% of the total amount.

Portimão
Portimão é uma cidade portuária na região do Algarve, no sul de Portugal. É conhecida pelo centro histórico, a marina animada e a proximidade a várias praias. O Museu de Portimão fica numa fábrica de conservas restaurada do século XIX, com exposições sobre a história local. A igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, de estilo gótico, possui azulejos. A sul, encontra-se a Praia da Rocha, com penhascos ocre como pano de fundo e o forte medieval de Santa Catarina de Ribamar.
